All students in Year 5 in 2021 have the opportunity to nominate to be either a Student Councillor or a Faction Captain in 2022.
Classes are engaging in learning about the roles, responsibilities and expectations of being a councillor or faction captain. Students will all have the opportunity to write and practise a 2 minute presentation within their class. Interested students will then nominate to be a councillor or faction captain and will present their speech to all electors before students cast their vote.
The process will take place over coming weeks and successful students will receive their badges at an assembly later in the term.
