School Board Meeting Monday 22 Nov 2021

The school board met on Monday 22 November 2021 at 3.00pm.  The Vice Chair – Leonie Gurr chaired the meeting.

The following items were discussed, noted and endorsed by the Board.

  • National School Opinion Survey – Parent Feedback. Overall feedback was very positive for the school with a large number of families submitting their ratings.
  • Chaplaincy Programme – the Board noted the value of the chaplaincy programme across all year levels of the school while also supporting families and caregivers. All members endorsed the continuation of this programme in 2022.
  • Staffing, Financial and Class Structure Planning for 2022 – This process is well underway with student enrolment numbers changing weekly. Fluid planning is required right through until the commencement of 2022. Parents advising the school of any changes to their child/ren’s enrolment status is vital at this point of the year.
  • Board Tenures 2022 – In 2022 a number of positions will become vacant in the committee with varying tenures. The vacancies will be advertised in Term 1 2022.

Leonie Gurr – Vice Chairperson – wished Ms Bates, Principal all the very best for the Principal of the Year Award which will be announced next week.  She acknowledged that this is an honour for Ms Bates as well as the school.

Meeting closed at 4.00pm.  The next meeting will be held on Monday 14 February 2022.
