ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP?
Next Monday 14 June 2021, Ms Sharyn Egan, an Indigenous Elder/Artist is visiting our school to instruct a number of classes on how to do the traditional Aboriginal art of weaving. (All other classes will participate at a later date.)
We will be using contemporary wool for the project and, we already have some wool but, will accept any further donations.
Our request is so that it is easy for students to manipulate the wool, the larger balls need to be wound into smaller golf size balls.
If you can assist please see Mrs. Amanda Light in LA 6 as soon as possible. You are welcome to take them home to complete.
Don’t forget to return them completed by next Monday.
We can’t wait to showcase what students will be making.
